At Cutescore, we strive to provide the best service experience. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for our ₹99 facial analysis service.

2. Refund Eligibility

✅ Eligible for Refund

You may be eligible for a refund in the following cases:

  • Pending Transactions (Service Not Used): If your payment is in "PENDING" status and you have not received or used the facial analysis service
  • Technical Errors: If a technical error prevented you from accessing the service after successful payment
  • Duplicate Payments: If you were charged multiple times for the same transaction
  • Service Not Delivered: If payment was successful but the analysis was not generated due to our system error

❌ Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:

  • Successful Transactions (Service Used): If payment was successful and you received your cuteness score and analysis results
  • Failed Transactions: If the payment failed, no charges were made, so no refund is necessary
  • Dissatisfaction with Results: If you are unhappy with your cuteness score or analysis (scores are for entertainment purposes)
  • Change of Mind: If you simply changed your mind after receiving the service
  • Pending Transactions (Service Used): If payment is pending but you have already received and used the service

⚠️ Special Cases - Pending Transactions

For transactions in "PENDING" status:

  • Service Not Used: Eligible for refund - we will process your refund once the transaction is settled
  • Service Already Used: Not eligible for refund - if you received your analysis while payment was pending, the transaction will be completed

3. Refund Process

3.1 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:

  • Transaction ID / Order ID
  • Payment date and amount
  • Reason for refund request
  • Screenshot of transaction (if available)

3.2 Refund Timeline

Processing Time: 3-4 business working days

Once your refund request is approved, the refund will be processed within 3-4 business working days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the transaction.

3.3 Refund Method

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method:

  • UPI: Refunded to the same UPI ID
  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunded to the same card (may take 5-7 business days to reflect)
  • Net Banking: Refunded to the same bank account

4. Transaction Status Definitions

✓ COMPLETED / SUCCESS

Payment was successful and service was delivered. No refund available as you have used the service.

✗ FAILED

Payment failed and no charges were made. No refund necessary as no money was deducted.

⏳ PENDING

Payment is being processed. Refund eligibility depends on service usage:

  • Service not used: Eligible for refund
  • Service already used: Not eligible for refund

5. Refund Approval Process

When you submit a refund request, we will:

  1. Verify your transaction details
  2. Check if the service was delivered/used
  3. Confirm the transaction status with our payment gateway
  4. Review your refund eligibility based on this policy
  5. Notify you of the decision within 24-48 hours
  6. Process approved refunds within 3-4 business working days

6. Important Notes

• Service Nature: Cutescore is a digital service delivered instantly upon successful payment. Once you receive your analysis results, the service is considered fully delivered.

• Entertainment Purpose: Our cuteness scores are for entertainment purposes only. Dissatisfaction with results does not qualify for a refund.

• Payment Gateway Delays: Refund processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. While we process refunds within 3-4 business days, it may take additional time to reflect in your account.

• Fraudulent Requests: We reserve the right to deny refund requests that appear fraudulent or violate our terms of service.

7. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with our refund decision, you may escalate the matter by emailing us at support@cutescore.in with "Refund Dispute" in the subject line. We will review your case and respond within 5 business days.

8. Changes to Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
